Fabulous in fur

Even though I don't wear real fur for ethical reasons, I have to admit it looks fabulous.  I wish they could manufacture faux fur that looks as good as this, I'm sure they will one day.
Fur seems to be everywhere at the moment.  A lot of people I know don't wear fur anymore but back in the day a fur coat was the height of glamour and sophistication.

New shoes

What a dreary old day!  I've cheered up slightly as I bought some new shoes.  These Christian Louboutin peep toe court shoes  have been used for shoots (technically they're secondhand) so they were £200.  I can't actually afford them so the overdue water rates bill will now have to get knocked back for another month.  Ooops.

There's the small matter of the fact that I can only walk about

Oh dear!

I don't like Monday's at the best of times.  I'm not great on time keeping and I'm not great on Monday mornings.  When I worked for a record company I had it written into my contract that I didn't work at all on Mondays.  I was usually recovering back then as I'd been out all weekend.  Thankfully I work from home now.

Finding old photographs

This is my passport picture from 2000.  I took this in one of those booths in Liverpool Street where you can pick the one you like best.  I wish you had that option with all photos!  Daisy did hers at the same time.  She looked just like Emma Peel.
Readers of my blog will know that I've been doing a life laundry for the past few weeks.  I've found tons of things I thought I'd lost which is

Take-out from A Little of What You Fancy and their Time Out review

Time Out says *****By Euan Ferguson
Hackney's patterns of immigration have ensured the borough has never been short of decent dining options - as long as you want some of the best Turkish or Vietnamese food in London.  Yet the middle-class colonisers who have been boosting the area's property prices for years haven't had much in the way of more traditionally British ingredients to get their

Friday quotes - Zsa Zsa Gabor

"How many husbands have I had?  You mean apart from my own?"
Zsa Zsa Gabor(b. 1917)
Zsa Zsa Gabor has some great one-liners.  Married ten times Zsa Zsa obviously has an appreciation for men.  She also loves diamonds, furs and it seems poodles, Yorkshire terriers and Persian cats.  She has that cartoon-like style of Hollywood glamour and a life of excess that never fails to amuse me. They don't
