Trying to find some inspiration

I don't know whether it's the total lack of light outside but I'm having trouble getting out of hibernation mode this week.  Today it has rained constantly and now it is a combination of snow, sleet and rain!  It's usually bright in my house but today it's so dark I've had to put all the lamps on.

I have been in bed with The Actor for the last two days watching movies and lots of Christmas stuff I've recorded.  We haven't left the house since Boxing Day apart from to pop to the corner shop.  
The Actor arrived on the 23rd and we had a totally chilled out Christmas Eve.  We opened our presents at midnight which we've done for the last few years as we've been going to his sister's on

Here's a picture taken out of my back door when the snow first started falling heavily on Saturday lunchtime.  It's five inches deep now and apparently more on the way.
All I wanted to do was stay in the warm but The Actor was taking me out on a "surprise" date and I had to be ready at six o'clock.  Hideously

I spotted that it had started snowing quite heavily about 1.30am on Thursday morning

So I put my long hooded coat on that I rediscovered in my wardrobe sort out. It's from Banana Republic and was £45 on Ebay a few years back.  It was brand new with the tags still on and is cashmere, wool and angora.  It's lovely and warm.
